First things first, thank you for being here.

I’m a fellow teacher located in Perth, Western Australia and I’m currently on maternity leave after many years in Early Childhood (but don’t worry UP teachers, I’ve been there too!). I’ve been a teacher since 2014 and I love what I do. But here’s the catch… I never wanted to be a teacher. I actually had such a hard time at school, that I never wanted to go back. Fast forward a few years after graduating high-school and I had an epiphany. This is something that I really wanted to do. And I’ve never looked back.

I first started out teaching as a specialist, before moving into upper primary.

I then landed my dream job at my current school and was placed into Year One. Sorry… what? This absolutely terrified me. I wasn’t a “little people” teacher!

So, I set about doing my very best to streamline routines until I found my feet (which is how my Math Warm-up PowerPoints were born!). And you know what? I never wanted to leave Year One.

Even though I’m on maternity leave, I still remember what it’s like in the classroom. In fact, there’s many similarities. Some days you feel like you’ve nailed it, other days you’re sitting in a corner eating jelly snakes you found on a shelf somewhere.

I understand the highs, lows and moments of overwhelm, and I’m here to make life a little bit easier for you. My focus is on creating resources that help You streamline routines and save time, without compromising on the quality of your instruction.
